Distribution to vidarbha farm widows on 23 October 2015
Grand Maratha Foundation distributed relief aid on 23rd October 2015 to widows of farmers who committed suicide after crop failure due to dry spell and climate change effect in the region.
The relief aid was given to:
- Vithal Madikuntawar of village Pimpri in Yavatmal district of Maharashtra.
- Kalavatibai – a tribal former of village vagholi in Yavatmal district of Maharashtra.
On behalf of Grand Maratha Foundation, the relief aid was distributed to them by Mr. Kishor Tiwari.
Relief aid distribution to Vidarbha farm widows
Ashbai Lakde, a Farm Widow to whom Grand Maratha Foundation donated a picco-fall machine. Now she has been empowered to earn at least Rs. 500 per day.
Aruna Kapse and her three daughters of Vidarbha farmer Khushakrao Kapase who committed suicide.
Grand Maratha Foundation arranged a relief aid and livelihood arrangement on emergency basis.
Relief Aid To Crisis Hit Distress Family Of Cotton Farmer
On 31st January 2015 Grand Maratha Foundation has provided relief aid to agrarian crisis hit family of cotton farmer Vijay Mahadure (Age 35). On behalf of Grand Maratha Foundation, Mr. Kishor Tiwari distributed the relief aid.
