We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the ‘Knapsack Spray Pump Distribution’ initiative under our ‘Sustainable Agriculture Program’ in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. This project has positively impacted over 1,100 underprivileged farmer families across 16 villages in Tehsil Pandharkavada, Pusad, and Umarkhed of Yavatmal District, as well as Tehsil Narkhed of Nagpur District. The distribution of durable, battery-operated knapsack spray pumps will significantly enhance agricultural productivity and the quality of farm produce
In conjunction with this distribution, we conducted a series of informative sessions on ‘Sustainable Farming, Organic Farming, Financial Management, and Integrated Farm Management’. These sessions were led by agricultural experts, representatives from the Government Agriculture Department, and our program coordinators.
Objectives of Program
- Empowerment : Empower small-scale farmers by providing them with affordable and user-friendly knapsack sprayers.
- Productivity : Improve agricultural productivity and foster economic development in rural areas.
- Safety : Minimize farmers’ exposure to harmful agrochemicals by equipping them with sprayers that allow for safer handling.
- Crop Health : Enhance crop health and quality by enabling farmers to control pests and diseases more efficiently.
