“I feel very sad when it comes to write something about farmer’s suicides. This text I am writing with very heavy heart. This colossal issue is very close to my heart as my family comes from a farmer’s background that’s from Bondargaon near Parli Vaidyanath, district Beed. This area of Marathwada has seen maximum number of farmer’s suicides. The tragedy is very big and exactly war like situation has come up in front of all of us. We are losing so many young farmers precious lives in this and government alone cannot cope up with the situation and hence all people should come together.

I congratulate Rohit to have come forward for this noble cause and formed a foundation. We assure you Rohit that you are not alone in this war, we are all with you may in a squirrel share but yes we mean it.

Dr Totla hospital also extends 50 % discounts in all the fees structure to all affected farmers to help them. This has been a rule in our hospital at Aurangabad. I wish to donate in my father’s name, Late advocate Shri Jagannathji Totla. Leading advocate of yester years and was very popularly known as Ram Jethmalani of Marathwada. He was a great human and whatever I am today is because of him.”

Many famous Indian personalities have consider farmer as our “BHAGYA VIDHATA” But unfortunately it’s the farmer who is in most turbulence state due to lackluster policies of every government in India.

Farmer never got his right in term of price of crop and the technology the countries have adopted .Till date majority of our agriculture depends on monsoon rain we don’t have proper irrigation system ,still farmer has to depend on local financer for seeds ,fertilizer and other equipments of farming so its the moral duty of every citizen to help farmer who is getting a very small part of money from what we are eating in daily routine life.
The Great Maratha foundation has taken a very good initiative to help our farmers so kindly contribute in this fund from core of your heart

“It feels very sad & pity to know that the number of farmers committing suicide are going on a higher side. Being in an economy where agriculture is the main backbone & the people who are into this occupation perform such instinct, makes me feel very low. I came to know from colleagues about Grand Maratha Foundation & it’s initiative to help the farmers by preventing them from suicide by contribution. So took an initiative to participate in this drive & help those farmers in my own way. I wish All the best to the foundation !”

“I have been working in the Kotak Bank for the last 4 years and previously I was General Manager in RBI. I was attracted to the cause and efforts of Grand Maratha Foundation and felt the farmers in Maharashtra and elsewhere need support and we need to take care of them. Hence felt it necessary to contribute to the corpus of the Foundation in my own small way. Wish the foundation all the best in its efforts.”
